Our students, under the guidance of Dr. Habib Kaymaz, represented our faculty and country with their hydrogen fuel cell vehicle developed within the Hydromarmara Team at the Shell Eco-marathon competition!
The Shell Eco-marathon is an international engineering competition focused on energy efficiency, involving university students from around the world. Teams aim to design and build vehicles that can travel the farthest distance using the least amount of energy. The competition is organized in two vehicle classes, "Prototype" and "Urban Concept," and across various energy categories, including electric, hydrogen fuel cell, and internal combustion engines (gasoline, ethanol, diesel).
The 2025 Shell Eco-marathon Europe & Africa was held from June 10-15 at the Silesia Ring circuit in Kamień Śląski, Poland. Marking its 40th year, the competition saw participation from 130 teams across 25 countries. Our students, listed below, as part of the Hydromarmara Team, successfully completed the control and training processes, passed 257 technical inspections, and competed in the final stage, representing our faculty and country.
